Client Day 2026 was a night to remember — and one of the highlights of the evening was our awards ceremony, where we took a moment to recognize nine members of our community who went above and beyond in their journey toward a tech career.
These awards were not handed out — they were earned. Every one of our winners showed up, put in the work, and demonstrated the kind of commitment and character that the tech industry is looking for. Take a look at our honorees and take notes on what it takes to win in the tech industry:
1. The Grind God/Goddess — Most Hours Logged in Coursera
Presented to: Johnny Smith for relentless dedication to the grind. This award goes to the client who showed up day after day and put in the hours when no one was watching. Every hour on Coursera is a brick in the foundation of a new career — and Johnny is laying more bricks than anyone.
2. The Cert Collector — Most Certifications Achieved
Presented to: Sukhi Grewal for stacking credentials like a champion. Each certification earned opened a new door and told employers: I am ready. In an industry that moves fast, Sukhi is moving faster.
3. Most Likely to Blow Up Your Phone — Most Calls to the Office
Presented to: Roxanna Herndon for never stopping until you get answers. Roxanna understood that persistence is not a personality trait — it is a professional strategy. Every call gets her one step closer to placement.
4. The Inbox Hero — Most Emails Sent
Presented to: Nathan Hadden for staying in contact and showing commitment. In the tech world, responsiveness is a skill employers actively look for. Nathan is keeping the bridge open at every step of the way.
5. The Comeback Kid — Most Remarkable Turnaround Story
Presented to: Paul Reed for rising when it would have been easier to quit. Paul's journey was not a straight line — and he keeps going anyway. His resilience is an inspiration to our entire tech ecosystem.
6. Speed Demon — Fastest Certification Achieved
Presented to: Michael Kent Berry for proving that focus beats the clock. When most people were still reading the syllabus, Michael was already finished — without cutting corners. Speed plus competence is rare, and Michael has both.
7. Rising Star — Greatest Momentum in the Program
Presented to: Leah Porter for accelerating toward a brighter future. Leah may not have started first, but she is finishing fast. Every week she gets sharper, and every milestone leads to the next.
8. Connector of the Year — Strongest Professional Network Built
Presented to: Jaeddson Jeannick Sanchez Arana for turning every interaction into an opportunity. Jaeddson understood that your network is your net worth — and is building with intention, authenticity, and real follow-through.
9. The Deep Diver — Most Consistently Engaged Learner
Presented to: Victoria Delgado for going beyond the surface every single time. Most people learn enough to pass. Victoria learned enough to truly understand — and is building not just to get a job, a lasting career.
