Celebrating a New Chapter: Universal Tech Movement Ribbon Cutting with GAHCC!

On Thursday, August 21st, we celebrated an exciting milestone in our journey: the official ribbon cutting for Universal Tech Movement in partnership with the Greater Austin Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (GAHCC).

The event marked more than just the unveiling of a name and brand; it was a celebration of our growing mission to connect communities to the tech industry through workforce readiness, innovation, and economic advancement. Joined by community partners, supporters, and members of GAHCC, we officially opened the next chapter of our work to expand access and opportunity in technology.

Why This Moment Matters

The ribbon cutting symbolizes our continued commitment to building bridges between underrepresented communities and the ever-evolving tech ecosystem. As we expand beyond Austin, this partnership with GAHCC underscores the importance of collaboration across communities and industries. Together, we can empower individuals with the tools, training, and networks they need to thrive.

Looking Ahead

We’re grateful to everyone who came out to support this moment, and especially to GAHCC for helping us celebrate in such a meaningful way. This is only the beginning. With our community’s support, we will continue working to break down barriers, create new pathways into tech, and ensure that innovation is accessible to all.

Stay connected with us as we roll out more events, programs, and opportunities designed to advance digital equity and workforce development. The future is bright, and together, we’re building it.
